I have been a clinical psychologist for 25 years, working with
individuals ages 15 and up, couples and families.
My private practice is in Corte Madera, Marin County, California. I see clients in person from all over the San Francisco Bay Area, and virtually from Placer County to Los Angeles and everything in between. My style is direct and to-the-point but also empathic and thoughtful.

The time for change is now.
I earned my doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology-Alameda. I also have a Master’s in Global Management. My doctoral study, “Female business professionals’ perceptions of themselves and others in the workplace”, was a marriage of my knowledge and interest of organizational dynamics and psychology. Career burnout and stress, managing workplace relationships, balancing professional and personal lives, are all areas in which I have a great deal of experience.
Early in my career, I worked in the California Family Courts on matters related to custody, mediation, co-parenting when parents do not reside together. Whether you are separated, divorcing or divorced, caring for children collaboratively in a way that is in the child’s best interest is essential to their well-being.
I am also a twice recovered former cancer patient. Working with patients with life-threatening illnesses and their loved ones is one of my specialties. Receiving a cancer diagnosis is a shock, and often this time is the most emotionally challenging part of a serious illness. I receive referrals from all the major medical centers in San Francisco and Marin when individuals want a mental health professional who also understands what it means to be a patient. Caretakers, who are taxed in every possible way, also need a place to share their own feelings and stressors. Therapy can help provide that support.
